# Fresh Ink — developer docs

Scoped agent context for building on Fresh Ink's booking API.

## Endpoints

- `GET /api/public/studio` — studio info
- `GET /api/public/availability?from=YYYY-MM-DD&to=YYYY-MM-DD` — open slots (max 31 days)
- `POST /api/public/holds` — create a hold; idempotent via `Idempotency-Key` header
- `GET /api/public/bookings/{id}` — booking status
- `POST /api/public/agent-keys` — mint an API key (`{email, label?}`), shown once
- `POST /api/public/webhooks` — subscribe to signed events (hold.created, booking.confirmed, hold.expired)
- `GET /api/public/events` — SSE stream
- `GET /api/public/capabilities` — versioned capability list

## MCP

`https://freshink.art/api/public/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, no auth). Tools: `get_studio_info`, `list_open_times`, `hold_slot`, `get_booking_status`.

## Rules that matter

- Booking is free while in proof of concept — no payment step right now.
- The agent never completes checkout: hand the `checkout_url` to the user.
- Rate limits: anonymous 60 reads/min + 5 writes/hour; keyed 600/min + 30/hour. `429` carries `Retry-After`.
- Errors are structured JSON: `{"error": {"code", "message"}}`.
